Bedtime Stories Adam Sandler: It was a chilly evening in Los Angeles, and the soft glow of the moon spilled through the window of a small suburban house. Inside, two kids—Emily, age seven, and Max, age nine—sat on a couch, wrapped in their favorite fuzzy blankets, eagerly awaiting their nightly ritual.

“Uncle Adam, tell us a bedtime story!” Emily chirped, her eyes sparkling with excitement.

Uncle Adam, who was none other than the Adam Sandler, grinned widely. He was wearing a pair of mismatched slippers and an oversized hoodie that read Happy Gilmore Was Here. His playful energy lit up the room as he grabbed a cushion and plopped down on the carpet.

“Alright, kiddos,” Adam said, rubbing his hands together. “Tonight’s story is about a magical… bagel!”

Max raised an eyebrow. “A bagel? That’s not magical.”

“Oh, but this one is,” Adam replied, winking. “This bagel wasn’t just any bagel. It was the Bagel of Wishes. And guess what? It could talk!”

Emily giggled. “A talking bagel? That’s silly!”

“Exactly!” Adam said, his voice rising dramatically. “So, picture this: There’s a baker named Bernie. He works in this tiny shop that smells like cinnamon and warm bread. One day, Bernie accidentally adds pixie dust instead of sugar to his dough. Boom! Out pops the Bagel of Wishes.”

He paused for effect, lowering his voice. “Now, this bagel—let’s call him Benny—had one rule. Whoever took a bite of him could make a wish, but only if they promised to never waste food again. Sounds fair, right?”

Max leaned forward. “What happened next?”

“Well,” Adam continued, “a greedy businessman named Mr. Snargle caught wind of Benny the Bagel. Snargle was always hungry, but not for food—for power. He stormed into Bernie’s shop one morning, ready to steal Benny and use the wishes to become the richest man in the world.”

Adam shook his head. “Not so fast, kiddo! Benny wasn’t just magical; he was also sneaky. When Snargle reached out to grab him, Benny rolled right off the counter and into Bernie’s arms. And guess what Benny said? He said, ‘I ain’t your average cream cheese companion, pal!’”

Both kids burst out laughing.

“So, Benny and Bernie hatched a plan,” Adam continued. “That night, when Snargle came back with his gang of loaf bandits, Bernie whispered to Benny, ‘Time to toast ’em!’ Benny rolled to the floor, glowing like a golden donut of destiny. Suddenly, all the other bagels in the shop came to life—cinnamon, sesame, even the everything bagels!”

Emily clapped her hands. “They fought the bad guys?”

“You betcha!” Adam said, pretending to swing a sword. “Bagels were flying everywhere, shouting, ‘No carbs for you!’ and ‘Dough you want some of this?’ Snargle and his gang ran out screaming, covered in poppy seeds and humiliation.”

“And Benny?” Max asked.

“Benny decided to stay with Bernie,” Adam said with a warm smile. “Together, they made the bakery famous for magical treats that reminded people to always appreciate what they had.”

Adam stood up, brushing imaginary crumbs off his hoodie. “And that, my dear munchkins, is how a talking bagel became a hero.”

Emily yawned, leaning her head against Max. “That was the best story ever, Uncle Adam.”

Adam kissed the tops of their heads. “Goodnight, kids. Dream big—and remember, don’t waste your snacks.”

As the kids drifted off to sleep, Adam couldn’t help but grin. Tomorrow, he thought, he’d tell them about the adventures of a heroic meatball.
